Michael R. Ruffenach was born in 1951 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He graduated with distinction from the University of Minnesota Morris with a B.A. Recipient of the Scholar of the College Award. This was followed by an M.A. in political science from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1975. In 1978, he graduated from Cleveland-Marshall Collage of Law , Cleveland State University. His decades of practice as an attorney has brought him a wealth of experience in the following areas of law:
