Javier Zuniga was born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador and is a Florida resident since 1998. He attended the School of Law at Catholic University in Guayaquil, Ecuador between the years 1995 and 1998. While attending law school in Ecuador he clerked at a law firm specializing in civil litigation, employment litigation, immigration and transactional work. In 1998 he moved to Florida. He earned an Associates of Arts Degree from Broward Community College in 2000, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2003, with a major in Paralegal Studies. During all his years of undergraduate study Javier worked full time at a non-profit organization as a credit counselor assisting distressed consumers with their debt problems.
