At the same organization he also held the position of Quality Manager and became a Certified Quality Auditor by the American Society for Quality. He gained experience in the implementation and maintenance of quality systems under the ISO 9001:2000 international quality standards. In 2004, Javier enrolled in the evening law program at the Shepard Broad Law Center of Nova Southeastern University. In 2007, he began working full time as a law clerk for the Law Office of Bonnie L. Canty, P.A.. In 2008, Javier earned his Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University and became a member of the Florida Bar later that year.

Javier is currently engaged in the general practice of law with a concentration in the areas of foreclosure prevention/defense, bankruptcy and immigration. He also assists clients in a consulting capacity with regard to implementation and maintenance of quality systems under ISO 9000. He is fully bilingual (English and Spanish). Javier currently resides in Boca Raton and is a proud husband and father of two.
